Emerging Together endeavours to create a trusting and empathic working relationship, where clients feel safe to open up and share their experiences.
This is predominantly done using a Person Centred approach to the counselling sessions. Other therapeutic methods may be included depending on the clients needs.
Counselling sessions offer clients space to offload their concerns and explore their own wants and needs. When this is done in a trusting environment clients begin to feel valued and understood.
Thoughts and emotions are worked through, helpful strategies are gained, trust and value in ones self is established and a level of acceptance is achieved.
